About South Florida Safety Program
The South Florida Safety Program began in 1995, offering traffic school classes in the Miami area through four different locations, serving the 11th Judicial Circuit Court for traffic citations. We provided traffic school courses for drivers who received citations, including 4-hour, 8-hour, and 12-hour classes. We also offered court-ordered and TCAC (Traffic Collision Avoidance Course) programs as required by the County Clerk’s office.
Over time, the South Florida Safety Program evolved into a state-approved course provider recognized by the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (DHSMV). In 2006, we expanded our offerings statewide. In line with DHSMV requirements, we added new courses, including those for first-time driver’s license applicants seeking their learner’s permits. The Traffic Law and Substance Abuse Education (TLSAE) course was launched in a classroom format and has graduated thousands of students over the years.
For more than 30 years, South Florida Safety Program has served as a course provider in the State of Florida with dedication and enthusiasm. Our online delivery method has made the course more comprehensive and accessible to students throughout Florida.
